She found her love for Physical Therapy after enduring a season ending injury and graduated from The Ohio State University with a Masters in Physical Therapy in 2005, later moving to North Carolina in 2009. She has now practiced PT for 20 years and later discovered Pilates after having her boys. She decided to follow her love for Pilates in 2020 and started taking courses while still working full-time as a PT, seeing the unlimited potential patients receive from adding Pilates to traditional Physical Therapy. She became Mat/Reformer certified in April 2024 and Comprehensively certified in March 2025, both through Balanced Body. Stephanie combines her passion for helping others with her understanding of how the body moves, changes and heals. In her free time, Stephanie loves to be outdoors any chance she gets, loves any form of exercise and soaks up all the time she can with her two sons and husband.

Sarah began her movement experience with classical Pilates in high school. Throughout high school and into college she studied various forms of classical dance which introduced her to Joseph Pilates work as a system that helped her condition and maintain full body strength. She graduated with her BFA in dance from Florida State University and shortly into the continuation of her professional dance career, she was injured, which led her to pivot into the next phase of her professional development as a movement practitioner. In 2021, she graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Throughout these experiences Sarah continued to practice Pilates both at home and in studios where she was encouraged to seek out certification and teach. Sarah came around to the idea, completing a 450-hour Pilates certification with The Pilates Center, training at Insideout Body Therapies in Durham, NC. It was here that she was mentored on how to tailor classical Pilates to work for all body types and abilities. Sarah seeks to utilize her movement expertise to promote Classical Pilates as a movement system for all bodies, empowering clients to feel belonging while facilitating longevity and the achievement of client specific goals.
